Ryan Charles Mack
Ryan Mack graduated from the University of Michigan Business School (ranked number one in the country) with a concentration in Finance. His career in equity markets began in Detroit, Michigan as a stock trader and later as a trader for the largest NASDAQ trading firm in the nation, Knight Securities. Having a passion for teaching he established his own financial awareness group in 2003 where he began to publish regular newsletters about various financial related issues that were of interest to people from all income levels.
Having had the opportunity to continue his career with several of the nation’s largest and most prestigious financial planning firms, Mr. Mack believed there was an industry void relative to providing advice and services to a broader spectrum of individuals. He saw a need to provide personal attention and elevated client service to all individuals of all income levels and not solely the high net-worth clientele. This prompted him to establish his own financial planning firm, Optimum Capital Management, LLC. He has achieved two licenses of insurance, a certification that enables him to give investment advice (Series 66), and is registered in many states throughout the United States including New York, Michigan, Ohio and California to name a few. He is often invited to speak within the community where he emphasizes the importance of developing a responsible investment plan which leads to financial independence. With a clientele representative of all income levels, through Optimum Capital Management, Mr. Mack continues to teach the merits of sound budget management and smart investing for all people.
Ryan Mack, President of Optimum will continue to educate the public. As an advocate of philanthropy Ryan Mack has worked diligently within the community and beyond to increase financial awareness. Some of his efforts include:
- He is in the fifth year of his after-school youth mentoring program which focuses on teaching youth financial planning principles.

GLAD Energy Services was founded in March 2005. Our goal is to be the
most effective conduit for urban “Green Collar” job growth through
training, partnering and completing projects that showcase Urban Energy
Generation and Management. We strive to create 1000 new, energy economy
focused jobs throughout the Midwest by 2015.
GLAD enables growth in the three fundamental areas of our new
Sustainable Energy Economy: efficiency of the built environment; urban
renewable energy as part of our fuel supply; and the build out of the
infrastructure necessary for the new “smart grid”. We target Residential,
Commercial and Municipal consumers, as well as local Utilities to consult,
construct and create products and services focused on sustainability.
The first focus of GLAD Energy Services is Energy Efficiency (EE). We
offer modularized service offerings in this area which can include audits
/evaluations, weatherization, efficiency retrofits, green power purchase
agreements and non hazardous waste recycling. We call this package
“Greenfitting tm”.
The second focus of GLAD Energy Systems is Renewable Energy. This
includes the site assessment, design, construction / installation and
maintenance of Renewable Energy Systems. We focus on Urban Solar
(Photovoltaic and Thermal) and Community based, small to mid-sized Wind
systems. These services can be standalone under our “MySkySupply tm”
brand, or be integrated into the “Greenfitting tm” package.
The third and final focus of GLAD Energy Services is the Smart Grid.
The focus of the “Smart Grid Grunts tm” services package is to implement
the smart metering infrastructure that is critical and primary to the roll
out of the upgraded, intelligent and scalable U.S. electricity grid.
GLAD’s services include field deployment and testing of smart meters
and the removal and recycling of old, end of life meters.
Underscoring each of these three pillars is the ability to staff or
partner to complete projects. GLAD Energy Services believes that the
fundamental skill sets required to participate in this economy can broken
into three separate areas:
o The ability to measure the performance of a building system based on
prescribed criteria (Energy Audits / Evaluations)
o The ability to design an energy system to meet prescribed performance
requirements (Efficiency Retrofits, Solar and Wind System design)
o The ability to install, maintain or remove structural or mechanical
components based on hands on experience, in field schematics or class room
activity (Efficiency upgrades, solar installations, wind project
construction or meter install/removal)
GLAD has the ability to self perform(energy audits,GC license for carpentry,HVAC) will staff or partner with Certified Energy Auditors, LEED AP
Consultants, Renewable Energy System Designers and Installers as well as
State Licensed Electricians, Plumbers,and Concrete and Insulation
professionals for every project and training opportunity.

Hello Mr. Mack, I recently read your article on RUSHCARD after doing some research for my girlfriend who unfortunately has a RUSHCARD. We have been doing everything possible to get her money back that they stole from her. It all started June/09, she went to withdraw $400 dollars for rent. The ATM machine froze up and immediately we got the phone number for the technician. We called and spoke with a tech who said he could see the problem and the money should be put back in Monday. Monday came and went with no return, so she called RUSH to find out about the problem and they said it should be worked out in 48 hours. 72 hours later they said it would be 90 days before she would see her $400. It has now been over 90 days and all we can get is an email saying how sorry they are, and then to add insult to injury they tell us the merchant who’s ATM machine she used rejected the claim. They can’t tell her anything about the actual status of the “investigation”. They have no actual managers to speak to, its a total scam and we are exhausted on what to do about this. I’m pretty sure that if you just give up on calling them and emailing them you will never see your money and they don’t care at all. Please sir if you have any information on this business that might be helpful it would be greatly appreciated.
